Susan loves leadership and mentoring of children and young adults. Currently, she is the Director of Children Ministries at Bunga SDA Central Church (focusing on ages 0–14 years) and also serves as a mentor under Project for Girls Uganda.
Susan is a seasoned Toastmaster and is currently the Secretary of the Muyenga Toastmasters Club, having previously served as the Vice President of Education for the club. She loves to share her stories and experiences to inspire others, and Toastmasters has given her the perfect platform to hone her speaking skills. Additionally, Susan serves as a board member of the Oasis Orphanage.
Professionally, Susan is currently the Head of Retail Banking Client Onboarding and Business Risk Management at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda.
She is married to Andrew Kavuma, and together they are blessed with three children: Jotham, Jessie, and Jayden.
